Three alcohol-free and sugar-free keto cocktails!

Dec 22, 2022admin

Keto cocktails can be a great alternative to treat yourself, but there are also alcohol-free alternatives.

Here are three options to enjoy the holidays!

1. Fake Coconut Martini

Coconut is good. Martini is good too. However, if you don't drink alcohol or just want to enjoy a good non-alcoholic cocktail , this alternative is perfect.

For two glasses:

- 75 grams of coconut cream

- 30 cl of lime juice

- 250 ml of sparkling lemon water, without sugar

Mix the coconut cream well, to ensure a nice texture, as it tends to separate into cream Vs liquid. Combine all ingredients. Add ice cubes, mix well and enjoy!

2. Non-alcoholic mojito

Who doesn’t love a mojito? But sometimes you don’t want to—or can’t—drink alcohol. This alcohol-free, sugar-free mojito —which is therefore suitable for a ketogenic diet—is the solution. For two glasses:

- 2 limes, cut into pieces

- About 15 fresh mint leaves

- 2 tsp Sukrin Gold

- Sparkling water

- 60 ml of “non-alcoholic rum” (optional)

Easy as pie: Place the lime slices with the Sukrin Gold in a container and squeeze the lime well to release all the juice. Clap the fresh mint between your hands several times to release the fragrance. Place it in the container and press it gently with a spoon or fork. Add the non-alcoholic rum if using. Add sparkling water and ice. Stir. Fill two glasses, garnish with lime slices and a mint leaf.

3. Keto Mulled Wine

For the holidays, mulled wine is a must, and it can be made without alcohol or sugar.

For 2 glasses, you need:

¼ bottle of dry non-alcoholic red wine

Pieces of bitter orange peel

¼ tsp cloves

½ cinnamon stick

Half a small star anise

3 grams of powdered ginger

1 cardamom grain

Heat all ingredients over medium heat for about 10 minutes, without boiling. Let sit overnight to infuse well, then pass through a strainer and heat gently to serve.

Conclusion

"Classic" cocktails can easily be adapted to keto and sugar-free cocktails. Today, we have a myriad of alternatives that allow us to enjoy a drink with our loved ones without having to drink alcohol or consume sugar.
